MEN ON A MISSION

Together, we’re empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community.

OUR HISTORYAND HERITAGE

Founded on the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.

Today, Father McGivney is being considered for sainthood

What's important to you?

Is it your family and friends, your career, or helping others? Maybe you just have a lot of time on your hands. Thankfully these are all ways to spend more time being guided by and working for our Lord Jesus Christ. Please take a sec and watch the video below.

What makes KofC 8295 unique?

KofC 8295 works to assist with the needs of our community consistent with the principles of the Order. Council 8295 can work wonders; in fact, with our many programs, we are helping change the community, town, city or neighborhood in which you live. However, a successful Knights of Columbus Council depends on people taking the initial idea, modifying it to suit specific situations and local needs, then implementing the program in the way it works.

At KofC 8295 we evaluate the needs of our community and implement those programs and activities that are most needed in our area. The Knights of Columbus Faith in Action Programs are designed to engage our council members in various activities across a host of categories.

We at KofC Council 8295 are excited to share our resources and faith with the communities of Anderson SC and   surrounding areas!
